The primary goal of Team Interrupters Inc. is to decrease the rate of recidivism in the City of Elizabeth and the County of Union. To meet this end, it is our intention to work with every individual through collective and team efforts to enhance successful transition for those returning home after a period of incarceration.
It is also our intention to positively impact the lives of youth in our the community who might believe that the future they aspire to is out of reach. We want to teach them to believe. We want to offer them tools for success. We want to teach them to strive for excellence. We want to show them it can be done. Recognizing, Educating And Developing Youth (READY) was created to confront the school to prison pipeline theory and give our kids a chance to be all they can be. “I Can Do It” is the most significant component to individual success. The Team of READY is committed to that cause in which every young person has the opportunity to see their dreams realized.
